This is some of the best Italian in Kansas City. Make sure you save room for dessert because the dessert cart is a must. I love all their offerings of wines. They have a great pasta selection and everything that tastes very authentic. The whole space transforms you. Parking is easy to navigate. The chef is great and I love how Jasper comes around to talk to his guests.

Went to Jaspers with a friend. We got the burrata for an app and it was delicious. It came with a fig jam and some greens. I had the Tortellini Romano and it was very delicious. I would get it again. The server was kind and attentive.

Jasper's is one of my favorite Italian places in the area. I got the fettuccini alfredo and my mom got the Scampi Livornese. The service was wonderful and our server was very patient and helpful. The ambiance is always lovely and I can't wait to come back!!

We always begin our evening at the bar, where the bartenders, much like Jasper himself, are both engaging and skilled mixologists. The wine list is also stellar, offering a diverse selection that caters to all palates. Transitioning to the dining room is the start of an epicurean adventure. A highlight is having Jasper prepare mozzarella tableside, providing guests with an intimate and interactive experience. The appetizer menu is unique and exceptional, with standouts such as the top-notch meatballs and ricotta. Make sure someone in your party orders the scampi or lobster ravioli - both are exquisite choices. My personal favorite is the Linguini Fra Diavolo. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the red pepper adds a delightful heat. The sausage and peppers, made from an old family recipe, are also outstanding and not to be missed. If you can, save room for dessert. The presentation is memorable, and there is a variety of options to satisfy any sweet tooth. While traditional Italian desserts are well-represented, the coconut cake is a standout - moist, flavorful, and served in a generous slice. It's a heavenly conclusion to an exceptional dining experience. Jasper's is a must-visit for anyone in Kansas City.

Jasper's remains one of the shining gems in the Kansas City restaurant scape. We went with friends to enjoy the special monthly menu they were running. Between the crispy polenta with gorgonzola cream and the Lobster Bisque en Cappuccino, I went with the polenta. Only because I' usually so disappointed in the lobster bisque I get in restaurants. And, frankly, I make a pretty fantastic bisque myself. But then I tasted my PC's bisque. Sigh... exquisite! Of course the tossed salad was delicious as Jasper has a great dressing! My entree of Pasta and Tuscan Pork Ragu was also delicious and somewhat lightly bathed in a flavorful Ragu sauce. The dessert of chocolate Tartuffo was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. I love Jasper's. It is a wonderful place to go to enjoy some old school charm, an authentic dessert cart, outstanding and attentive service (Thank you Salvadore!) and a consistently delicious meal. I'm always somewhat amazed to see how much Jasper himself gets out into the dining room to greet not only the regular customers, but those of us who don't make it in often. He is a gracious host and one of the most reliable ambassadors for the restaurant industry in the Kansas City area.
